Favourite movement to coach: Anything in the squat pattern

Advice to anyone looking to try CrossFit: You’re on your own journey. Don’t evaluate your success, progress, or ability against what anyone else is doing.

Random fact about yourself: I love being in the gym but I’d always rather be out mountain biking,hiking, or paddleboarding.

How long have you been coaching: 18 months

Favourite movement to coach: Anything gymnastics

Advice to anyone looking to try CrossFit: Just try it. Crossfit is infinitely scalable, we can find a progression that fits you.

Random fact about yourself: For my first wakeboarding competition I wore a pair chicken slippers around my wakeboard bindings and earned my nickname of Mr chickenslippers.

Advice to anyone looking to try CrossFit:

1: You don’t need to be fit to do CrossFit, that comes with time.

2: Go to a few classes, nobody gets addicted the first time they do something

3: You’ll be surprised at what your body can do!

Random fact about yourself: I can ride a unicycle really well 🤡

Advice for anyone looking to try CrossFit:

You don't need to "get fit" first before trying crossfit. Crossfit training meets you wherever you are in your fitness journey. Movements and workouts can be scaled and adapted so that a complete beginner, or elite athlete can reach the same stimuli.
